Welcome to the New Site!
I’ve got a lot to tell you. About me, about these new songs, about living in Israel, about my job, about politics, religion, life, happiness and all the other things that go running through my head when I let them. But if I’ve learned one thing from working in social media these last few years, it’s that no one wants to read that shit. Well, at least not in one go. So I decided this first post is going to be a short and sweet “welcome to my site, this is what I’ve got planned.”
Actually, my only plan is to keep writing, making music and putting it out there. I’ve got a day job that I love and will tell you more about another time (if you want a preview, check out the Waves playlist on the Videos page). So this site is my side project – a combination of expressive outlet and something to do when I’m bored.
I’m kicking it off with three new singles, my first recordings in over 5 years. If you’re familiar with my last album, Extra Credit, then hopefully you’ll detect some growth since then. I feel like these new songs are closer to who I am as an artist and I’m really happy with how they came out.
If you like the songs, you can download them for free straight from the music player. Yes, they’re also available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify and most of the other online music services, and if you want to purchase them I won’t refuse :) But like I said earlier, I have a day job. I do this because I want to, not to make a buck. With all my heart, I say that if you like the songs enough that you want to put them on your music player – I want you to have them, whether or not you feel like paying for them.
Finally, I just want to say thanks to all the people who have helped me with this project, past and present, and to my very supportive friends and family. I won’t bore everyone with names, but you know who you are, and more importantly, I know who you are. I may have taken a long break from the first album until now, but not once was there ever a thought that I wouldn’t return to it. I just took a much needed timeout. Now I’m ready for more.
